Sharper Than Any Two-Edge Sword

For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
--Hebrews 4: 12-13
The Word of God which we call the Bible, and God are not distinct and separate. That is why the Church tells us to know Sacred Scripture is to know Jesus. How often do we turn to Scripture for answers to our problems of daily life? God, who is the source of all knowledge and wisdom, who in the Incarnate of Jesus and in His Holy Word has an understanding of man which is much more insightful and honest than what our modern guru's or philosophers can tell you. If you have a particular family, work, or life dilemma, read your Bible and see what God has to say about it. You may discover that you can delve into areas of yourself spiritually that have not been discussed or read about, or even imagined any where else. God knows you and can help you know yourself. Life is about being true to God and yourself and there is no other source that can tell you that than Sacred Scriptures. Shut off Dr. Phil, leave Oprah to herself, stop reading the end of the world and how to prepare for it, or how to survive in difficult financial times. God has he answer and He's waiting patiently for you.
