Mary "The New Ark of the Covenant"

"On that day, The root of Jesse, set up as a signal for the nations, The Gentiles shall seek out, for his dwelling shall be glorious." Isaiah 11:10

Mary is the Ark of the new Creation. As you know the Ark was constructed with explicit instructions:

"You shall make an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high. Plate it inside and outside with pure gold, and put a molding of gold around the top of it." Exodus 25:10-11

The Ark was the physical container by which the Chosen People could "pitch a tent" and have God stay with them. There were explicit instructions on both how the Ark was built, but also the Tabernacle where in the Holy of Holies it was placed. Access to it was limited to the High Priest who could enter only once a year, (note both Moses and later King David seem to enter it whenever they desire). In there the bloody sacrifice" the Blood of Atonement was brought in.

Mary is the physical container by which "the Word became flesh", she too is "plated inside and out of purity" for she was conceived Immaculately without original sin," in her womb was both the New High Priest (Jesus) and the New Bloody Sacrifice, the "New Blood of Atonement"(Jesus).

Mary is the Ark that contains the New Covenant which Jesus proclaims

"Take this, all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant."
Mary, though very young and disturbed by the news that the angel Gabriel, acquiesced to God's plan for her to be the new Ark and thus opening the door to the path of salvation, not to just God's Chosen people but to the entire world as Isaiah proclaims in 11:10.

For she is Queen Mother, our closest intercessor to Jesus, Mary Immaculate!
